Machines by Salvagnini
The Salvagnini's milestones
Salvagnini was founded in Milan in 1963 with a staff of one: a draughtsman. The company initially designed and assembled oleodynamic power packs using commercially available components. In 1969, Salvagnini entered the automation sector, then in its very early stages, specializing in sheet metal processing. A number of Salvagnini patents led to the creation of Transferics, a new technology for transferring workpieces from one point to another quickly and accurately. In 1975, Salvagnini moved to its current location in Sarego, in the province of Vicenza.
- 2005 Salvagnini introduces the Perfomer H16 ABT, the compact panel bender to make bends up to 165 mm high.
- 2006 Salvagnini launches a new generation of laser cutting machine, L1.it.
- 2007 Salvagnini introduces the new S4X, the high-performance punching and shearing system.
- 2008 Salvagnini launches the X-machines generation, the revolutionary time saving, money-making technoloigies for punching, bending, laser cutting, material handling and storage.
- 2009 Salvagnini launches L1Xe: the revolutionary fiber laser cutting machine. Economical, ecologically responsible, extremely competitive, with very low energy consumption, reduced maintenance, wider range of materials to be cut.
- 2009 After the acquisition of an italian high level press brake manufacturer the company started to produce and sells hydraulic and electric pressbrakes.
- 2010 Just 18 months after the launching of the first fiber laser machine, Salvagnini presents L3 and L5, the second generation of fiber laser machines. The L5 features a patented mechnical device, the compass, which allows the machine to reach accelleration till 5 g, while mantaining very low consumption.
- 2011 launch of B3 preesbrake; it reaches extremely high levels of performance thanks to a unique drive.
- 2012 Launch of KinEtic, the new company philosophy: Ethical values that allow Salvagnini to go beyond machine innovation and achieve significant goals for both man and work thanks to an active and dynamic design philosophy.
- 2013 Launch of P1, the class AAA machine, with patended new kinematics, able to produce parts and panels.
