CHAMBON was created in the middle of the 20th century. The company established itself in Cousance, a small village in the Jura, a region of great tradition of clock-making and precision mechanics. During years the company developed itself in order to become one of the biggest manufacturer of wood machines. The buy-out by the HACO group in 1993, and the integration of GUILLIET, created in 1874 and N°1 worldwide in wood machines during a long time, enabled to increase its know-how and qualities to answer to users expectations.
Today we are proud of our past rich in innovations. CHAMBON/GUILLIET machines are: simple of use and robust which is a factor of long longevity of our machines. The range is wide and interesting for craftsmen as well as for performing industrials; from the band saw, circular and vertical saws, thicknessers, surfacers, spindles, tenoning machines and mostly the four side planer and profiling range etc.
Less than 10 years ago we have develop a tenoning machine and we are now « leader » on this market.
We are also developing a range of four side planers with big capacities 350 x 250 mm for carpenters, stairs manufacturers and for everyone who wants to plane, to profile, to make mouldings in big widths.
